All airports will be in need of ground activities volunteers. Volunteers are the life-blood of the Women Can Fly event. We could not have the event without the support of a dedicated group of individuals who give their time to make this event a success.
All airports will be in need of volunteers who would be willing to use their own personal aircraft to offer complimentary flights to girls and women on the day of each event. If you would like to be a part of inspiring women of all ages to experience the joy and thrill of breaking the bounds of earth for the first time, please register for this event!
We have a variety of jobs available that cover all aspects of the Women Can Fly event. You do not have to be a pilot, all that is required is a love of aviation and a volunteer spirit.
All pilots landing or taking off from the Virginia Beach Airport (42VA), a Private airfield, must sign and submit the attached Hold Harmless Agreement and additional Insurance requirements annually before approval can be granted to fly into the airport. This agreement does not constitute blanket permission to operate from the airport. Permission is required before each planned event.
